It's a pile of lids and pots and anytime I need something, it's a loud clanging activity to find what I need. And a matching lid?! HA! Not gonna happen. We also have this problem - the cabinet won't ever shut right. Partially from the hinge being wonky, but mostly because of pesky pot handles.
So I'm open to any suggestions on better ways to store, modifications I can make to my cabinet, etc etc. Show me your pot cabinet/storage?! I appreciate the help!!

you could do a pot rack... the ceilings are plenty high and then you would open space in the cabinet :)
I'm not sure where I'd do a pot rack, though. The big box light thing over the island, I'd like that to go away eventually, but I'm not sure it's in the budget right now :(
hrmph... well, what exactly is under that box light thingy? Is the ceiling finished under there or is it just an entire light "hole"? I think you may be able to find some sort of rack that could attach to either side of that light... what are its dimensions?
